An Interesting Week...
When I review audition tapes, I make notes about the specifics of the guy and how I think he might proceed with the company. Earlier this week, when Roy came in to audition, I wrote "he could be dangerous" in his notes and followed it with a question mark as I wasn't sure why I thought that.

That's not a typical note for me. Even the super cocky homophobes don't strike me as dangerous, just boisterous and full of hot air, perhaps a bit of a challenge. Roy, however, had something ever so slightly off that made me uneasy. He seemed a bit too much of a drifter, but he was hairy and a real cowboy so I thought he was worth investigating further. We'd just need to be cautious.

Then this morning, well...

Needless to say, it was a little bit of a shell shock.

Breaking News... Just as I was writing this, he's been arrested.

I realize, too, that not everyone will be pleased with Roy's debut. We auditioned him just like any other guy and did nothing to encourage anything illegal.
